Children's Parties We can plan a very special birthday party for kids that includes a supervised visit to the exhibits and a science magic show. We can cater to groups of up to 50 children. Bring your own birthday cake and catering and we will provide a space for eating and drinking. (Or ask about arranged catering. )We can provide you with special Sci-Bono invitations that includes directions to the Centre.

Corporate Functions
Arrange an unusual and exiting corporate event. Sci-Bono is a perfect venue for banquets, cocktail functions, presentations, launches or other business events. Catering can be arranged or you can provide your own. We can provide a unique venue, highly entertaining activities for guest and specially designed science magic shows.

Special Visits
We can arrange a special visits and customised activities for youth groups, senior citizen groups, visitors with special needs, visitors from out-of-town or other groups. The visits can be planned to meet visitors' needs and interests and can include presentations, science shows and other special activities.

Special Events
Sci-Bono is an intriguing and unique venue for any event. This revamped historical building boasts an unusual and attractive modern architecture that is geared for large and small product launches, fashion shows, TV and video shoots, conferences, art exhibitions and other events.

Parking

Sci-Bono Discovery Centre

The public parking area at the top of Newtown Park just off Miriam Makeba is associated with the Sci-Bono Discovery Centre. This parking area also offers access to the Newtown Park itself, and The Workers Museum. Venues such as Moving into Dance, The Dance Factory and Bassline are a pleasant stroll away on the other side of the park. SAB World of Beer is opposite the park on the other side of Miriam Makeba Street.
